Are you ready for a vacation at the impressive Ox Ranch?!

We will be hosting a 3-day, 2 night long range shooting course from April 4 through April 6.

Course Fee: $2750

The course fee covers the cost of the shooting course, lodging, chef-prepared meals, an exotic game dinner, lodging, drinks to include an open bar, and the many activities the ranch offers, such as ATV rides, fishing, cave exploring, arrowhead hunting, dinosaur track exploring, and sightseeing via side by side or jeep. You are more than welcome to hunt one of the 80+ species of game the ranch has to offer. There is a harvest fee that you will be responsible for. 

Day 1:

Everybody needs to arrive at the ranch no later than 9am on Friday morning. We will have a classroom to meet in and cover the basics of the course. This period of instruction will include housekeeping rules, weapon safety, weapon familiarization and a brief instruction regarding wind calls, target acquisition, scope manipulation, trigger control, body position and a few other details. The majority of “learning” will be on the shooting deck. After the classroom portion we will break for lunch before meeting on the shooting deck. A ranch vehicle and/or a RWP vehicle will transport everybody to the shooting area. We will ensure all weapons are zeroed before moving on to further targets. On day 1 our goal is to have everyone shooting accurately out to 600 yards. We plan to end the day around 4pm to allow the guests to enjoy the ranch activities. We will eat dinner together at or near 7pm. 

Day 2:

We will meet around 7am for breakfast before moving to the shooting area. We will touch over what we covered on day 1. We will then begin advancing to the 1200 target. We will break for lunch and then return to the shooting area. We will again, end the shooting around 4pm allowing each guest to enjoy Ox Ranch. 

Day 3:

The day YOU shoot 1,760 yards (1 mile) and join our 1760 Club!

We will meet around 7am for breakfast before loading up and moving to the 1-mile shooting deck. The objective for day 3 is to have each guest successfully strike one of our steel targets location 1,760 yards away! We will let you know if we believe your personal rifle has the capability to do so. If not, DO NOT be bummed out. All weapons and ammo have limitations. Don’t worry, the point of the class is to focus on the basic fundamentals of long-range shooting. We will put you behind one of our rifles that we know has the ability to strike steel at the 1,760 targets. 

Regardless of what weapon you use and what distance you are shooting, the same basic fundamentals are applied.

We require a $1,000 deposit to secure your spot for the course. If you cancel this deposit is NON refundable unless YOU find a replacement. The remaining $1750 of the course fee is due no later than 4 weeks before the course starts. Once this is paid, it also is NON refundable if you cancel for any reason. It is up to you to find a replacement. We will do our best to find somebody to fill your spot. Once the spot is filled, you will be refunded your fee. Again, if you nor we are able to find a replacement the fee will not be refunded. 

You are welcome to bring a guest. The guest fee is $2,000. They can do everything you do minus the actual shooting.

We will do our best to find somebody to fill your spot. Once the spot is filled, you will be refunded your fee. Again, if you nor we are able to find a replacement the fee will not be refunded.

3 Day 2 Night Precision Rifle Course at Ox Ranch in Uvalde, TX!

This course is designed to teach the fundamentals of marksmanship in regard to the precision rifle system. The course will consist of classroom and range time. Shooters will be able to engage targets and collect data from 100 yards to 1200 yards. Shooters will then get the chance to take some shots at 1760 yards (1 Mile). There will be exposure to ever-changing environmental conditions during this class so prepare yourself to be challenged and expect to learn. The location for this class is at the world-renowned Ox Ranch in Uvalde Texas located in the beautiful hill country of South-Central Texas. Just a short drive from San Antonio. You will have access to all that the Ox Ranch has to offer.

Class Details:

Location: Ox Ranch, Uvalde, TX

Cost: $3,000.00 per student, $1,000 non-refundable deposit. Guest registration is available at $2,000. Guests are restricted to the lodge area during class hours. Fee includes lodging, food, and drinks (alcohol included). See below for early check-in cost.

Duration: 3 days 2 nights. Early check-in may be available if you want to stay the night before the class starts. Early check-in cost is $625 per person. You can check in at 3pm, and this includes dinner. Please let us know ASAP if you are interested in early check-in so that we can see if any rooms are available (if not, there are many other lodging options in Uvalde, TX).
